The Lauder Larder – The Community Food bank. This has been set up by a superb group of volunteers but but is not restricted to Lauder only.
Their aim is to help everyone and to ensure no-one goes hungry. There is a rescue table which stops food from supermarkets going to landfill. They DO NOT means test nor ask about personal circumstances.
All communication is dealt with empathy and in strict confidence.

We are a bunch of volunteers who are hoping to re-start the Lauderdale Path Network group and coordinate efforts to help to maintain existing paths as well as look into creating new ones where needed. If you’re a local walker, runner, cyclist, dog-walker, horse-rider, buggy-pusher etc and use our path network then join us. We need help not just with labour but we’re also looking for committee members and tea-makers! Let us know what you’d like to see and help us to make it happen. We’ll post our upcoming meetings & workdays here. Cake guaranteed for all workdays 🙂
Raising awareness of the small community changes we can all make to help to tackle the growing waste problem including the issues of single-use plastic.
